
Eger

Eger is the second largest city in Northern Hungary, and is one of the most visited tourist places in Hungary. It is about 120km from Budapest. Eger is well known for its castle, thermal baths, historic buildings and its quality wines. Eger is home to The Valley of Beautiful Women, and hosts more than 200 wine cellars with wine tastings, live music and Hungarian food. Eger built many beautiful buildings built in the 18th/19th century and has a current population of around 56,000.
